The Autism Directory certificate of appreciation
On behalf of The Autism Directory we would like to thank everyone who kindly donated to the charity last month when they had a collection in the centre.
The charity is set up by parents with autistic children. When their children got diagnosed they felt completely unaware about autism. They knew very little about it, the cause and how to help their children. They set up the charity to support other people going through the same situation. They want to prevent others feeling alone like they did. The intention of the charity is not to duplicate anything but to get everything together on one website, for information, support and help. The charity believes that everyone should have the opportunity to build self confidence, nurture and belief in themselves and have a future to look forward to. Also that everyone should persue their passions and ambitions to help support themselves to live an independent life.
Thanks to everyones generous donations on Tuesday 14th March at the Clock Tower Shopping Centre they managed to raise a fantastic £203.45. The money raised enables the charity to continue to support families and individuals with autism from Rugby and across Warwickshire.
